If you participated in the Fall Madden tournament at The University of Alabama, then you are probable familiar with Mainline. Mainline is a software company based out of Houston, Texas. This great company provides an easy, safe way for people to host esports competitions and tournaments online. Though it isn’t very big, Mainline has partnered with several high-ranking colleges to help bring a more accessible way to host tournaments for college students and others alike. This year Learfield IMG College and Mainline teamed up to host the first Madden NFL esports competition for 10 member schools! This event took place virtually in the summer of 2020 and led up to the well anticipated “2020 Fall Madden Challenge.” For students at The University of Alabama, and colleges worldwide, the partnership between Learfield IMG College and Mainline meant a chance at competing in a tournament for prizes and glory! Level Next Champion Series worked with the University of Alabama to bring its students the most epic esports gaming tournament they ever participated in. During this tournament, current students were able to represent The University of Alabama and we had 27 participants! Over 398 schools were represented in this tournament. Wyatt King emerged as the winner for Alabama in the mainline tournament.
